Hosta ‘Mighty Mouse’ Plantain Lily

A sport of ‘Blue Mouse Ears’, Hosta ‘Mighty Mouse’ is very small Plantain Lily with rounded, blue-green leaves and creamy yellow margins. The leaves mature to gray-green with white margins. ‘Mighty Mouse’ has lavender blooms on 12″ scapes in midsummer. Its “mighty” cute edging the border or used in mixed containers and troughs.

Hosta ‘Mighty Mouse’ prefers partial to full shade and moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Hosta will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided consistent moisture. They will tolerate clay soil and can be grown under black walnut trees.

Plantain Lily are classic perennial shade garden plants that will also grow well in containers.
