Helleborus X ‘California Dreaming’ Lenten Rose

Helleborus x ‘California Dreaming’ Lenten Rose has lovely single primrose yellow blooms with darker yellow centers and yellow stamens. ‘California Dreaming’ is a hybrid helleborus that flowers in late winter to early spring. Lenten rose’s dark green leathery, evergreen foliage makes it a great perennial for naturalizing in a shady border or woodland. Once ‘California Dreaming’ matures, it will bloom heavily, so it is also a good cut flower. Part of the Honeymoon® Series of Helleborus.

Helleborus prefer light to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. They are particularly good in deciduous shade. Helleborus can take a half day of morning sun if given adequate moisture.
