Loose clusters of beautiful, snow white flowers attract hummingbirds to Agapanthus ‘White Superior’ in summer.
Commonly called “Lily-of-the-Nile”, Agapanthus are bulbous plants that seem to enjoy being a little pot-bound. For this reason, they thrive and bloom profusely in containers. These plants are only semi-hardy in our zone (Zone 7a in Virginia).
Agapanthus ‘White Superior’ Lily-of-the-Nile are drought- and heat-tolerant. They prefer moist, well-draining soil and a nice, sunny spot.
